Planning Content

In order to plan key features of my magazine, I asked my focus group for feedback.

Front Cover

• My focus group chose the title "STAGE" for my magazine as it represented live performing.
• 67% of people in my focus group voted for this title.
• The other options were: Beat, Voice, Boom, Chord, Demo and Vamp.

Contents Page

• I used subtitles based on the general conventions of the content of indie rock magazines e.g. upcoming artists etc.
• I asked my focus group about the colour scheme, and they said to continue the black/grey, white and red colour scheme for consistency and professionalism.

Double Page Spread

• I have to write an article/interview including information on Mel and her music, so interviewed her with key facts so that I could do so.
